Past president of the Northlands Storytelling Network, a 5-state regional organization of storytellers from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Founder of the Grand Rapids (Minnesota) Storytelling Festival.

Has taught adult workshops and credited courses on storytelling.
