A talented, versatile musician and wonderful storyteller, Kevin has captivated crowds at festivals, concert halls, schools and libraries in the United States, Canada and Europe. Locally, he has performed at the Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, the Midwest Renewable energy festival in Amherst, WI, the Kaleidoscope Program at the Duluth Public Library, and the Madison Civic Center.

His performances are an extraordinary combination of music and narrative, humor and drama, using traditional and original material that leaves listeners profoundly satisfied. The stories and music that he has collected from around the world resonate with audiences of every generation and background. His original song, "The Changes That We Make", drew this praise from Pass It On magazine: "His thoughtful words are empowering for individuals and communities."

Kevin is accomplished on many instruments including the violin, autoharp, guitar, piano and tuba. Many of these instruments take a voice in the tales that he spins and lure his listeners into active participation.

Kevin McMullin is a great fiddler, wonderful story teller, and a sensitive and skilled organizer. He is a major force in community building through dance and music in Wisconsin. He would be a wonderful and versatile addition to any family week.
—Peter Amidon, Vermont caller, storyteller and song leader

Kevin's stories are fresh and exciting! He charms the audience into the present moment and surprises us with a moral or a joke. He's always a delight to listen to.
—Nanci Olesen, host of MOMbo, a radio resource for moms

Kevin McMullin is a great fiddle player, a helluva song writer and he owes me $40.00.
—Randy Sabien, internationally known jazz violinist

Kevin's storytelling is fantastic. The Magic Box is as good as any storytelling recording I've heard.
—Stuart Stotts, Wisconsin storyteller
