Betty has been delighting and entertaining storytelling audiences both young and old for over twenty years. Sometimes referred to as the "Hat Lady," Betty's unique style of telling includes hats, props and lots of audience participation.

Her performances involve high energy and a unique style of making her characters come to life. Betty uses her repertoire of folktales, fairy tales and currently published children's material as an incentive to engage children in "reading for fun."

Betty tells to audiences of all ages and has worked extensively with children and adults with disabilities. She has presented at schools, libraries, festivals, conferences, retreats and workshops throughout the United States.
