Judy is a
storyteller and children's librarian. She has 20 years performing
experience and a wide range of over 200 stories from the folk tradition,
literature, and original stories and poems. The founder of W.O.W. (Washington-Ozaukee Wordsmiths) and a founding member of the Wisconsin Storytellers' Get-Together, Judy is also a past recipient of the Washington/Ozaukee Reading Council's "Celebrate Literacy" award. In 2000, Judy received the "Friend of Education" award, and in 2001, she was the Lucy Beck Award recipient for service in support of the art of storytelling in Wisconsin. Judy is the author of two adult comedies and eight children's plays, and has three audio tapes available.
